Week 2 reflection

Week 2 of senior project was great! This week we spent some time putting together our meal plan. We looked more into our sample plan and adjusted it to our preference. We also spent some time trying to make it more organized and presentable. Also we took some time to meet with Rachel and set up a format for our final project of creating the workout plan. After it had been formatted and we knew what type of workouts to put in certain places of the plan we got started putting it together. We haven’t finished yet, but will continue to finish it up in the next few days. We also of course continued to workout this week. We continued to do less reps with more weight which we had learned during our research is better during the off season. We also switched around some of our workouts. We moved our leg workout to the beginning of the week to avoid being sore for games. We found that the leg workout made us more sore than the others and to give us time to recover before having to compete. We also tried some different exercises within our workouts. I liked our work this week. It was nice to be able to start our final workout plan and getting to continue to workout was nice as well. Similarly to last week there were no surprises except some coffee trips and just getting distracted in conversations a couple of times, but overall it was another very productive week. The workouts from this week will benefit me by making me strong and improving my overall fitness. The work we did on our meal plan helps us learn more about what we need to fuel our bodies and what good options are. Our work on our workout plan will help us to complete our final project to be able to present at express fest. Overall we got a lot of work done on our meal plan and workout plan to help us achieve the goals we set at the beginning of the project. We will spend the next two days working on finishing up our workout plan and creating the final project. We will also continue to work out. It should be a good week!
